Weaving Modern Metal into a Landmark Retail Experience

Nanchang’s MixC World Plaza is a premier commercial hub. Its design, inspired by the local heritage of “porcelain” and the concept of “weaving,” required a vast and diverse range of custom metalwork to bring its ambitious vision to life.

Our company was a primary supplier for this large-scale project, fabricating and delivering thousands of metal components. We manufactured everything from the signature “3D Woven Ceiling” art piece to the high-traffic functional elements in the elevator lobbies, retail spaces, and restrooms.

Key Metalwork Solutions Provided:

3D Woven Metal Ceiling: The centerpiece of the atrium is the massive 3D woven metal ceiling. We fabricated and finished the hundreds of individual, interlocking aluminum components that form this complex, flowing art installation.

Stainless Steel Balustrade Systems: We supplied the complete stainless steel and glass balustrade systems for all the mall’s curved, multi-story atriums, including the stainless steel handrails.

Elevator Lobby Systems: We produced the full interior fit-out for the elevator lobbies, including the textured stainless steel wall panels, bronze PVD elevator doors and interior decorative panels, and metal door frames.

Retail & Hallway Metalwork: Our scope included diverse interior elements, such as fluted metal wall cladding for corridors, perforated metal panels for storefronts, and open-cell stainless steel grid ceilings for shop interiors.

Restroom Metal Partitions: We fabricated all the high-end restroom components, including the floor-to-ceiling brushed stainless steel toilet partitions and the custom bronze-finish metal urinal dividers.

Custom Metal Fixtures: We also manufactured various bespoke fixtures, including stainless steel framed glass entrance doors and custom tiered metal planters for public spaces.
